D6Bels On Stage
Late last month, we recorded the show on Stage D6bels Farm Biéreau in the NLL with the full team Dominica Francois, Cedric and Eric. We played Alcohol, in its new version with Mandolin (yes Mr. Dory!) And Life truant. The show was really nice. There was like other Belgian Samir Barris and Vanessa Klak (very nice duet) and the team already well established Mathieu Bihoul.
And this issue has mostly been a meeting between three girls, a redhead, a brunette and a blonde. Well, the blonde is me, as usual. I am the youngest, least known, but in fact all that we do not care. The two women who m'encadrent with generosity and talent, simplicity and authenticity are the great Sophie and Axelle Red. And frankly they impress me. They know their stuff, do it with passion and trace their route. They are in completely different niches but something brings them together. Authenticity. I spend a real nice time, ease myself comfortable and I almost forgot the cameras:) Manu Champagne, which is solely for the occasion and not accompanied by the presenter Sophie Frisian, who is ill, seems to be very pleased to be both framed and put their hearts delight. Three women it can soon be synonymous with rivalry, but that night, nothing like that. There is instead a natural generosity. Something happens, quite simply, a real encounter. It was really fun.
In the boxes, Axel teaches that we do a duet on a cover of Hot Stuff Donna Summer with the great Sophie. She invites us to come sing with enthusiasm on one of those songs that speaks of a mother and his son, a female subject. So we end up all three at the end of song, on the same stage. A true happiness. And then it's time for the famous duo. I still tremble. No kidding. But still. Quite a challenge. A song that is not at all in the style of my repertoire, which is in English and will be repeated twice before recording in all and for all! A leap into the void! Well, I worked at a max me and above all I do not sing with anyone. For I must say that besides being a real woman on stage, the great Sophie really class, humanely. This recovery she sings live, she really control so much? She could do her thing and let me Sort this out myself. But, no. It is there in front of me, listening. She is with me, I feel it and it's really gay to feel complicity stage when we do not know very long time:)
I hope it will good. It's crazy because singing in English, it's really not the same ...
